We bring together readers, writers, authors, book clubs, independent booksellers, writing teachers, small publishers, any and all who care about keeping alive small-scale publishing of physical books and real bookstores where you can browse the shelves and connected communities of people who love reading and creating great stories.

Our community, courses, and memberships are pretty special, and there are many ways to participate.  We’re focused every step in the journey to and beyond becoming a published author. Wherever you are on your writing journey you will find others like you, at your same stage. You will find others newer than you that you can help reach your level. You will find teachers who can take you to the next level, whatever your dreams or your hobby interest takes you. When your work is ready, you will have a place to see it come into print. 

Here are a few of the things you’ll be able to do as a member of LiLLiPub:

• If you are an avid reader, you will find a caring community of avid readers. You will get to meet our authors in Zoom calls and have a chance to have your questions answered on the call. You will have a chance to become a beta-reader and develop a personal connection with a favorite author.  And if you decide to dip a toe into the world of writing, you'll find some great courses to get you started and, with our anthology program, you will have a realistic chance to have a short story written by you published in a real book that is sold through our network of brick and mortar bookstores. And, speaking of those stores, you will find links to book clubs and bookstores in your area. You will have a chance to become an ambassador to your favorite brick-and-mortar bookstore. 
• If you are a writer, you will find a caring community of other writers. You will have access to courses that will help you create your work and get it honed and polished to readiness for publication. You will have a pool of avid readers, eager to become beta readers for you and you will be able to choose your own group who will eagerly support you. You will have an opportunity to have Zoom interviews with our whole reader community, with your beta readers fielding questions and available to answer some of your fan mail and pass just the gems on to you. When your book is ready for publication, you will find all you need to bring your book to life, plus an audience of avid readers eager to individually walk into physical bookstores to promote your book. Fans support the writers they love and writers find they can keep in touch in a way that is close and personal, but does not drain your precious energy.
• If you are a small, independent booksellers you will find a community of fellow small, independent booksellers. You will be able to exchange ideas, take courses and attend occasional free workshops covering what works and what doesn't in these times of growing internet dominance. You will find a community of avid readers who are eager to support you. You will find a host site where book clubs can post their meetings and the books they choose to read. You will have a broad catalog of books to choose from drawn not only from this publishing coop, but from sister publishing coops, as well. Our books are well and deeply vetted, not to reject authors, but to develop them and help them work on their offerings to full publication readiness and we have the teaching staff to make that happen. If you subscribe to the catalog, you will have a physical catalog that you can place on your counter and have your readers find their next book gem. Better yet, we will be recruiting local avid readers who will carry that catalog to you, and will be buying their next read from YOU.
• If you are a sister publishing coop, we welcome you! Let us share ideas and inspiration. Let us add your titles to our catalog so that our avid readers can find their next read in your works and can carry your works to our reader's local booksellers as a part of a combined catalog. We don't charge for that service. We each pay a small dues that keeps the lights on around here. You can purchase the combined, printed catalog at-cost, if you like. We just charge for the cost to print it and ship it to you. The online version is available at no cost.

When you join LiLLiPub today, you’ll get access to:

• Any of our Communities: Find the group (or groups) that resonate with you.
• Author Interviews (always free) and occasional free writing workshops: Hear what our writers and authors are up to. Watch bonus free workshops and tutorials that introduce you to our teachers and what you can learn from them.
• Beta-reader Opportunities: There is no charge to be a beta-reader. You just have to be chosen by an author. You will have the opportunity to attend courses and workshops on being an effective beta-reader, some paid, some free.
• Writing Courses: Courses are geared to many different levels and cover different goals. All are priced reasonably, because every dollar of tuition you pay goes directly to our teachers. LiLLiPub takes no commissions.
• Publication Avenues: When your work is ready for print, we will be ready to print it and our avid readers, who have come to know you as a writer, will be eager to buy and read your work. They will carry word of you out into their communities, advocating for you with their book clubs and urging their local booksellers to carry your work. LiLLiPub takes no commissions from the publication of your work. The pool of proceeds is shared between the booksellers that retail your book, you the author, and the members of the Vision Circle who collectively put up the money to get your book printed.
